By using PDFio, you agree to use the website and tools responsibly and only for documents that you own or are authorized to process.

Permitted use

You may use PDFio for lawful personal, educational and business document tasks such as compressing, merging, splitting, converting, OCR, watermarking and organizing files.

Restricted use

You must not use PDFio to process illegal content, infringe third-party rights, overload the server, attempt unauthorized access, or bypass document restrictions without authorization. The Unlock PDF tool is only for PDFs where you know the password or otherwise have permission to decrypt the file.

Temporary processing

Uploaded and generated files are temporary. You are responsible for downloading your output before the file expires.

AI tools

AI outputs may be incomplete, inaccurate or unsuitable for official use. Review all summaries, translations and answers before relying on them. Do not submit confidential or sensitive documents to AI tools unless you are authorized and comfortable with the configured AI provider's processing terms.

No professional guarantee

PDF conversion, OCR, AI and repair tools may not be perfect for every document. Always review important output before relying on it for legal, financial, official or professional use.

Advertising

PDFio may display advertisements to support free access. Ad placements should not be interpreted as endorsement of an advertiser or product.

Limitation of liability

PDFio is provided on an “as is” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, PDFio is not liable for losses arising from use, failed conversion, OCR errors, expired files or third-party services.

Output review

Users are responsible for checking output files before submission, sharing or printing. Conversion, OCR and compression results may vary depending on source quality and document structure.
