Why did compression show 0% saved?
Some small, text-only or already optimized PDFs have little reducible data. For scanned/image-heavy files, stronger compression normally gives more visible savings.
What is Force smaller / rasterize?
It rebuilds PDF pages as images to target the smallest possible output. It can reduce scans but selectable text may be lost.
Are my files stored permanently?
No. PDFio uses temporary processing and temporary download links. Old uploaded and generated files are cleaned automatically according to the configured retention window.
Do I need to install software?
No. The public PDFio tools run in your browser or through the site processing engine, depending on the task.
